Loewe marks 100 years of audio heritage with a stylish DAB+ portable, Bluetooth radio
2023 marked 100 years since German audio-visual pioneers Siegmund and David Loewe founded the company that now bears their name – although back then they called it the rather less memorable ‘Radio Frequenz GmbH’! Their very first products were radios, so it seemed fitting that Loewe launched radio.frequency, a brand new DAB+ radio to mark their centenary.
Using selected materials, such as the acoustic fabric specially developed by Loewe and a natural oak inlay, the DAB + radio is sleek, slim and modern.
State-of-the-art technology with DAB+, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C charging function combined with a user friendly operating system ensures that the Loewe radio.frequency is practical, portable and punchy delivering surprisingly full sound from 28 watts of power driving two active speakers.
In addition a high-contrast LCD display shows all relevant settings including a wake-up alarm and snooze function.
