Home cinema can mean many things, from a simple television and soundbar to more advanced multi-speaker set ups.

Whether in a dedicated cinema room, or discretely integrated into your living area, a home cinema system can provide hours of entertainment for you and your family. The big immersive sound and quality picture experience found at the local multiplex can be achieved in your own home (without the tall person in front of you rustling their sweet wrappers).

Multi-room wireless audio

Multi-room audio distribution allows you to enjoy music in every selected room throughout your home using your own personal music collection via iTunes, MP3 files or similar or from music streamed from subscription providers like Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Google Play Music and Internet radio.

The music could be on vinyl, CD, network drive or computer and your usage will usually denote what style of system is installed. Most multi-room systems are wireless and can be controlled at the touch of a button, via a remote control keypad or app on your phone or tablet or even from your voice.

Multi-room products include wireless speakers, smart speakers, soundbars, AV receivers, stereo amplifiers and network streamers and a system can be as simple or as complex as you require. Speakers can be placed around the home, even in the walls or ceiling, allowing you to take control of your audio system from any room in the house.

A multi-room audio system will allow you and your family to enjoy music together, or enable each family member to play their preferred tracks separately in their own space without disturbing others. Should you be planning a party for example, you can pre-select your playlists to set the different moods, and then play your different choices in different rooms. Alternatively you can group all the rooms onto a single playlist for a truly party atmosphere throughout the house.  Wireless audio is convenient and simple but most systems will rely on a good wireless signal or network connection as they will communicate and connect using your home’s wi-fi network. Wall mounted television

In 1997, Moss of Bath was the first independent High Street retailer in the UK to display a wall mounted television! Over twenty years later, the wall mounting of flat panel televisions is the primary and fastest growing of the many services offered at Moss of Bath.

As no two installations are the same, all requests received to wall mount a television/s will be followed by a FREE site visit and detailed quotation. Moss of Bath approach every installation with a ‘can do’ attitude, often undertaking jobs that other retailers have turned down or deemed impossible, there are very few restrictions for our television and home cinema installations. Our teams will chase walls, lift floorboards, strengthen plasterboard walls and undertake a first fix prior to decorating. Our aim is to ensure that no ugly cables are visible once the installation is complete.

Working with two bracket manufacturers; Vogel and Future Automation, Moss of Bath have access to a wide range of flat, elbow, scissor and motorised brackets. The diversity of brackets available cater for all types of installations. Moss of Bath have our own in-house team of highly trained, professional and dedicated installers who will undertake all aspects of your installation. We do not sub-contract or use third party installers. Adopting this approach allows Moss of Bath to take full responsibility for your installation and provides a one-stop-shop solution.

Smart home/data & network installation

Moss of Bath are at the forefront of Smart-home technology. Consumer electronic products are increasingly reliant on a broadband connection in order to fully function. Moss of Bath installers are highly trained and experienced in configuring internet connected products to your router and broadband.

Products installed into properties where the in-coming broadband speed is slow and/or unreliable, or where the internal wireless distribution is poor and/or unreliable, or where the existing wireless router is slow and/or unreliable, may experience problems with their product/s, Moss of Bath can investigate and suggest a resolution to wireless distribution problems.
