Moss of Bath win at the IER Awards

We are delighted to announce…..we won!

The leading figures in electrical retailing gathered on Thursday 11 April at the Victoria Park Plaza Hotel in London for the 27th iteration of the IER Awards.

Moss of Bath was victorious in the ‘Best Small Independent Retailer in Consumer Electronics’ category, fighting off tough competition to take home the trophy. In addition, Moss of Bath was shortlisted as finalists in the ‘Best Website’ and ‘Best Customer Service’ categories.

Organised by Datateam Business Media, publisher of the Innovative Electrical Retailing Magazine, the event celebrated the incredible achievements of the sector from the past twelve months. The unique format of the afternoon gave guests the chance to witness live demonstrations of innovative products from leading manufacturers in the field, followed by an opportunity to network with peers at the exclusive drinks reception ahead of the awards presentation itself.

The highly anticipated awards ceremony, hosted by critically acclaimed comedian Sean Collins and household favourite ‘voice of Strictly’, Alan Dedicoat, saw 23 accolades presented to the very best manufacturers/suppliers, retailers and individuals that the industry has to offer.

After receiving the award, Tim Moss, Managing Director, said “Winning the IER Award for Best Independent Retailer is very rewarding and to triumph in this category feels extra special as we were up against some very tough competition.  As always, it is a team effort and an acknowledgement for all the hard work that the staff put in every year.”

Annie Moss, PR & Marketing Manager said “We work hard and we are busy and therefore entering into industry awards is a great way to lift our heads up to see the industry from a wider perspective. It gives us objective feedback and continues to push the business to keep evolving. Winning an award helps to confirm our continued success within the CE business.”
