Apart from Tim, Harvey is the longest serving member of the team. Meeting with clients to discuss audio visual systems and has day-to-day contact with suppliers, brand partners and staff to ensure that the business always has enough stock!
1.How long have you worked at Moss of Bath and what brought you here in the first place?
I’ve been at Moss of Bath for 32 years; starting as a ‘Saturday boy’ when the business had just moved from a small shop at 6, St James’s Parade to the current premises at 45, St James’s Parade.
2.What or where is your favourite place in the city of Bath?
Although strictly speaking not in the city of Bath, one of my favourite places to relax and enjoy the countryside is The Wheatsheaf, Combe Hay. http://www.wheatsheafcombehay.com
3.Should you press shuffle on your mp3 player which track appears?
I don’t own an mp3 player but my favourite track is still from the first album I purchased (on CD) and it’s Peter Gabriel’s ‘Sledgehammer’.
4.If you could take one product home today what would it be and why?
The Ruark R7 because it’s an absolutely superb ‘all in one’ hi-fi system, designed and engineered by a British company.
5.What is the one thing you get asked the most by customers?
‘Do you deliver?’ And the answer is ‘Yes’ Moss of Bath offers a FREE home delivery service within a 10 mile radius of the city centre and what’s more, should a customer place an order before noon, (and we have the product/s in stock) we will always endeavour to get their purchases delivered on the same day. That’s great service!
6.Football/Rugby…or something else?
Skiing. Nothing can beat an early morning chairlift to the top of a mountain.
