Small Business Saturday
Saturday 5th December 2020 marks the eighth year of Small Business Saturday in the UK, a day when shoppers are encouraged to support their local shops and businesses.
Recent research shows that there is an increased ‘love’ for local, independent businesses this year with 59% of people surveyed saying that they support small and local more than ever following the important role that so many played in their communities during the coronavirus lockdowns.
Paul Scully, Small Business Minister said: “Now more than ever it is vital that people get behind their local businesses, whether by popping in to get Christmas presents, ordering essentials online or getting a takeaway from their favourite cafe or restaurant.”
Moss of Bath is an independent business; ‘family’ run and wholly owned by its directors with its roots firmly tied to the city of Bath for the past 58 years. Although we sell big brand names…we are still independent!
