From 1 February 2017, Discovery Communications’ portfolio of 13 channels will not be available in Sky TV packages.
The following Discovery channels will no longer be available for Sky UK and ROI customers from the end of January 2017:
· Animal Planet
· Discovery HD
· Discovery History
· Discovery Home & Health
· Discovery Science
· Discovery Shed
· Discovery Turbo
· DMAX
· Eurosport1
· Eurosport2
· Investigation Discovery
· Quest
· TLC
Sky have released the following statement:
“Our current agreement with Discovery expires on 31 January 2017. We’ve worked really hard to reach an agreement with them but unfortunately we haven’t yet been able to do so. Therefore at this stage, Discovery Communications’ portfolio of channels are likely to come out of the Sky TV packages for customers.”
The affected channels will not be available at any point from 1st February 2017.
