BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing returns to our TV screens on Saturday 10th September and this year viewers will have the opportunity to see the finalists battle it out on the dance floor, live from The Tower Ballroom in Blackpool in 3D.
The free-to-air broadcast of the final in 3D will be available to anyone who has access to a 3D TV set and to HD channels, regardless of which digital TV provider they use.
Executive Producer Moira Ross said: "Returning to Blackpool for the final will see our winning couple crowned in style with the 3D broadcast giving viewers the chance to experience the dancing in a whole new dimension."
The entire series of Strictly Come Dancing is also being broadcast in HD on BBC One HD and in standard definition on BBC One.
It was also announced last week that London's 2012 Games will be the first Olympics to be broadcast live in 3D. More than 40 venues will be filmed using the technology covering the opening and ceremonies and more than 12 sports.
