The switchover body is taking to the road in an 'analogue detector van' to find viewers who risk losing TV channels after the region completes switchover.
After switchover, around 150,000 homes served by local relay transmitters across Bristol, parts of Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire will be able to receive Freeview for the first time, seeing the number of channels available through an aerial increase from four to around 15.
Anyone who hasn't converted their TV to digital after switchover will be faced with a blank screen.
Moss of Bath are hosting the next Digital Switchover talk on Thursday 21st January, 2010, at 10am. These popular sessions are aimed at anyone who is still unsure about how the Digital Switchover will affect them. Places are limited so early booking is advised. Refreshments will be served.
