Matt has a varied position within the company at Moss of Bath doing different roles from day to day. You will find him in-store advising clients on the right television or audio system and then installing that same system in the client’s property.
1. How long have you worked at Moss of Bath and what brought you here in the first place?
I have worked at Moss of Bath since January 2002. I was previously working for a satellite distribution company where I was supplying products to Moss of Bath.
2. What or where is your favourite place in the city of Bath and why?
Definitely Alexandra Park. One of the best views in the world.
3. Should you press shuffle on your mp3 player which track appears?
Usually it’ll be music from Queen, Oasis or a dance track from a running playlist. However, the last two albums played on my Spotify account were the soundtrack from Frozen and music from a Disney Princess album! #parenthood
4. If you could take one product home today what would it be and why?
Having recently added the Sonos Beam to my living room television it will only be a matter of time before the Sonos Subwoofer is added and ideally two Sonos One SL’s as the rears. You definitely need the best audio to go with a 4K picture.
5.What is the one thing you get asked the most by customers?
This is tough as I spend the majority of my working day installing product and fixing issues for our customers and get asked so many different/varied questions. I was once called ‘Yoda’ by a client because I could answer everything he asked and as a Star Wars ‘geek’ I did appreciate that!
6. Football/Rugby or something else?
Football! Hopefully my team Liverpool will end the 29 years of hurt this season and win the Premier League…. finally.
