Use Sonos Amp to add wireless rears to your Sonos Beam, Playbar or Playbase. Use two Sonos Amps for 4.0 surround sound.
WHAT CAN SONOS AMP DO?
Amp extends the Sonos experience to your in-wall and in-ceiling speakers, bookshelf and floor-standing speakers, and outdoor speakers. With 125 Watts per channel, Amp supports high fidelity sound for even the most demanding speakers.
This opens up possibilities to use much more powerful speakers while integrating with your wider Sonos system.
CREATE THE ULTIMATE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM BY CONNECTING SONOS AMP TO YOUR TV
Following on from the Sonos Beam, Amp will also include an HDMI-ARC input to connect directly to a television, allowing for 2.0 (stereo) setups. Add another Sonos Amp for 4.0 Dolby Digital setups. An infra-red sensor on Amp will allow for volume control via your existing remote controls.

AirPlay 2 support also means all Apple users can cast any audio straight to the Sonos Amp itself for another method of quick and easy, wireless control.

Alternatively, use Amp’s dedicated line-in port to connect any audio device, including a turntable to power your vinyl collection. Direct digital input eliminates the need for analog conversion, resulting in crisp, undistorted sound for music streaming and television.
