Tune into a DAB internet radio at home
My radio at the moment is on pretty much 24/7 not only for keeping up to date with the latest news but I am using the bluetooth function more than ever to play my music and, more importantly, to stream and listen to all the podcasts I’ve been meaning to catch up on. Be careful what you wish for!!
As more people may be ‘confined to barracks’ over the coming weeks the radio will become a lifeline; connecting us to the outside world and providing great entertainment.
One of my favourite podcasts is ‘Danny in the Valley’ where Danny Forston meets and interviews tech entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley and like so many other people I was totally hooked on ‘Serial’ (This American Life).
From time to time and for a relaxing listen you cannot go wrong with ‘Desert Island Discs’ and my favourites include episodes featuring Mary Portas and Caitlin Moran.
