TIM MOSS WINS THE 2017 ‘ERT SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT’ AWARD!
Independent television and hi-fi retailer and installer Moss of Bath is incredibly proud to announce that Managing Director, Tim Moss has been presented with the prestigious ‘Special Achievement’ award at the 2017 ERT Awards.
With just over 200 people in attendance, this year’s winners of the ERT Awards were revealed at a lunchtime ceremony on September 25th held at the grand Connaught Rooms in London’s Covent Garden.
Now in their 10th year the ERT Awards are aimed at recognising excellence and outstanding achievements in the electrical retailing sector. They are organised by ERT magazine, the leading business title for the sector.
Judging for the awards took place earlier in the year and the winners were chosen by a panel of independent and impartial industry professionals and experts.
Prior to being announced as the winner, Tim was described by the editor of ERT magazine, Sean Hannam, as being a “true local independent retailer and one of the industry’s most forward-thinking and innovative consumer electronics dealers”. He went on to say, “In an industry that can too often be negative, he is one of the most positive, passionate and enthusiastic retailers you will ever meet.”
Tim Moss, director at Moss of Bath said: “I was absolutely thrilled and astonished to be presented with the ERT Special Achievement award and especially delighted to have been recognised during the 55th anniversary of our business.
This award is particularly special because it is an acknowledgement from my fellow peers in the industry and it is always good to know that people appreciate the work you do.
At the age of 55, I must be one of the youngest ever recipients..which makes it even more humbling!
Although the ERT Special Achievement award has my name inscribed on it, no business is about one individual and this award is shared by the amazing team at Moss of Bath, some of whom have been with me for years, with a very special mention to my father Frank who had the vision to start the business 55 years ago.”
