Radio Africa

Moss of Bath collected over 65 analogue radios in the part exchange scheme as customers made the switch to digital and purchased DAB product. Most of the old analogue radios will be refurbished and sent to support Children's Radio Foundation projects in South Africa.

The charity will help to train young radio reporters and local adult facilitators/producers to produce radio programmes in their home language and to host monthly radio shows on the local community radio stations.

These refurbished analogue radios really will change children's lives.

The promotion worked particularly well for Moss of Bath who have a highly trained and motivated sales team who gladly demonstrate the benefits of DAB and allow customers to audition product prior to purchase.

Due to the success of the Radio Amnesty, Moss of Bath will continue the promotion in store until the end of August.
